We have been working with Chapters since 1995, when they launched their first stores in Canada. Following Indigo’s acquisition of Chapters in 2001, we have continued to support their real estate strategy, including new store acquisitions, relocations, and dispositions. Currently, there are 88 stores and counting operating in Canada. As Indigo has evolved from a traditional bookstore into a lifestyle retail brand, we have adapted our approach to align with their changing real estate needs.

Our relationship with Winners began in the early 1990s when the brand operated just 14 stores across Canada. Today, Winners, Marshalls, and HomeSense collectively have 581 locations nationwide and counting. We have been instrumental in their growth, handling new store site selection, relocations, and expansions. TJX is a best-in-class retailer that operates all across Canada from all types of markets in all types of retail venues.

Walmart

Since Walmart began in Canada in 1994, they have grown to become one of the country’s largest employers, with more than 406 stores and 100,000 associates nationwide. Walmart Canada is part of Walmart Inc. – a people-led, tech-powered omnichannel retailer helping people save money and live better through stores, online and through their mobile devices. More than 60 years ago from the first small discount store in Arkansas, Walmart has grown to operates more than 10,500 stores in 19 countries and e-commerce sites and employs 2.1 million associates around the world. RVC is proud to play a key role in shaping their next phase of growth across Canada.

Rolex (Raffi Jewellers)

Rolex is an integrated and independent Swiss watch manufacturer. Headquartered in Geneva, it is recognized for its expertise, dedication to craftsmanship and the quality of its design.
Since 2022, RVC has been advising Raffi Jewellers as they expand the Rolex Boutique brand across Canada. Our role includes guiding the establishment of Canada’s largest Rolex Boutique within CarbonLeo’s Royalmount development in Montreal. Raffi Jewellers also operates two multi-brand watch and jewelry stores featuring extensive Rolex collections, with plans for further expansion.

Altea Active


Since 2019, when Altea Active entered the Ontario market, we have been advising them on their ambitious expansion strategy. Altea Active is a premium social wellness club that blends high-end fitness with social and lifestyle amenities. Designed to cater to urban professionals, families, and fitness enthusiasts, their facilities offer state-of-the-art workout spaces, boutique fitness classes, recovery and relaxation zones, and vibrant social lounges.
With 4 locations currently open in Canada - Vancouver, Toronto, Winnipeg, and Ottawa—and plans for continued growth, we collaborate closely to identify and execute strategic real estate opportunities. Our focus is on securing high-visibility, high-traffic locations in urban centers across Eastern Canada, ensuring that each new club aligns with Altea Active’s vision of redefining the modern fitness and wellness experience.

Our partnership with Whole Foods began in 2004 when they were preparing to enter the Canadian market, with a focus on Eastern Canada. Given the unique requirements of grocery retail, we have helped navigate key factors such as competition, traffic patterns, demographics, and accessibility. Today, there are 7 Whole Foods locations operating in Ontario.

Our partnership with Whole Foods began in 2004 when they were preparing to enter the Canadian market, with a focus on Eastern Canada. Given the unique requirements of grocery retail, we have helped navigate key factors such as competition, traffic patterns, demographics, and accessibility to ensure strategic placement within their desired markets. In August of 2017, Amazon acquired Whole Foods Market for $13.7 billion, marking the largest acquisition in Amazon’s history at the time. Today, RVC continues to support Amazon and Whole Foods, ensuring alignment with evolving business strategies.

In 2024, we began working with Kids Empire as they entered the Canadian market. Founded in France with a further expansion into United States, Kids Empire is a rapidly growing leader in the indoor children’s playground industry, offering a unique and engaging play experience for kids while providing a safe, comfortable environment for parents. Their facilities feature multi-level climbing structures, obstacle courses, slides, and interactive play zones designed to encourage physical activity, creativity, and social interaction.
With nearly 200 corporate locations across Europe and the United States, Kids Empire has developed a successful model that prioritizes accessibility, affordability, and a focus on family-friendly entertainment. As their real estate partner, we are leading their expansion strategy for Ontario, identifying prime locations that align with their target demographics and growth objectives. Our role includes securing spaces in high-traffic retail centers, ensuring visibility, accessibility, and the right co-tenancies to support long-term success.

Sporting Life


Our partnership with Sporting Life began in 2011 following Fairfax Financial’s investment in the company. We were engaged to develop a national expansion plan and have been refining and executing that strategy ever since. Today, Sporting Life operates 11 stores in Canada, with plans to grow to 14 locations.
